Covid Autum Booster you must be 75+ years old or 18+ years old with a weakened immune system.

For Flu you must be over 65, a health or social care worker, fall into a clinical risk category (see Gov.je) or live in the household of an immunosuppressed person. This is available till 31st March 2026.

For Shingles you must be aged 50+ with a weakened immune system, those turning 60 or turning 68 & 69 this year and those aged 70-79 years old. 

This is also available throughout the year 

For Covid Autumn Booster you must be 75+ years old or 18+ years old with a weakened immune system.

Please note this will be available from Saturday 4th October 2025 and CANNOT be added to an existing Dr’s appointment due to preparation of vaccine in batches.

All vaccinations are important to reduce the risk of catching a preventable disease. In Jersey we follow the immunisation schedule set by the UK Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisations (JCVI) for Children and Young People. The MenB vaccine is offered to babies at 8 and 12 weeks and at around 12 months. The MenB vaccine is not routinely offered as part of the teenage vaccination programme, instead the Meningitis ACWY vaccine is offered at this time. MenB is very rare and when seen is most likely to affect babies and very young children as such we are not currently advising for vaccination outside of the JCVI schedule. The MenB vaccine can be provided privately via GPs if after a consultation it is deemed appropriate. Public Health advise all young people travelling to university to check that they are up to date with their vaccination schedule. The Immunisation Team can provide advice and arrange for catch up clinics where required.
