Dr Anna Kukula PhD has been the head of the Dermatology Department at the Jersey General Hospital since 2017.

Previously she was working as a consultant dermatologist in major London teaching hospitals including St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospitals, the Royal Free NHS Trust and in the private Skin Care Network in Barnet. Dr Kukula completed her medical training with distinctions at the Medical University of Lodz in Poland and later specialised as a consultant in Dermatology following her family tradition (Anna’s mother has been practicing dermatology for over 40 years). After extensive research in the field of autoimmune diseases Dr Kukula completed her PhD in Medicine. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, Royal Society of Medicine, American Academy of Dermatology and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She has written for key medical text books and published a number of articles in peer reviewed international journals.

Dr Anna Kukula brings to our clinics over 25 years of experience in dermatology and specialist knowledge in wide range of skin, hair and nail diseases. These include diagnosis and both non-invasive and surgical treatment of skin cancer and pre-cancerous, mole checks, acne, psoriasis, eczema and autoimmune diseases. She is experienced with both adult and paediatric patients. Dr Kukula offers to her patients the latest generation digital total-body mole-mapping service.
