Dr Anna Kukula, PhD moved to Jersey in 2017, and she led the Dermatology Department at the Jersey General Hospital until the end of 2024. During her tenure, she also chaired the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team, significantly enhancing the early detection of melanoma in Jersey. Before this, she honed her expertise as a Consultant Dermatologist at renowned London institutions, including St. John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, the Royal Free NHS Trust, and the private Skin Care Network in Barnet.
Dr Kukula followed in the footsteps of her mother, a distinguished dermatologist with over 40 years of experience. Her dedication to research culminated in completing her PhD in Medicine, focusing on autoimmune diseases.
Dr Kukula holds memberships with the British Association of Dermatologists, Royal Society of Medicine, American Academy of Dermatology, and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. Her expertise is reflected in her contributions to medical textbooks and publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
With over 30 years if experience in Dermatology, Dr Kukula brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clinics. She specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions.

Dr Kukula introduced the state-of-the-art AI-powered FotoFinder Master total body mole mapping system to Jersey in 2019 to advance the early detection of skin cancers.
Dr Kukula recently established Rapid Access Clinics to promptly assess patients with skin cancer concerns.
